The final was over after just 10 minutes with USVO leading 25-5. Voiron's 5-points came from free throws. You could not blame USVO for relaxing during the second period but it still took sixteen minutes for Voiron to score from open play(39-17). If not for the efforts of Jessica Clémençon and her 20-points the defending champions would have been well out of the contest before the interval.
Sarah Michel (pictured left) meanwhile had an almost perfect first half scoring 15-points and hitting 6-of-7 from the field. She went on to finish the match with 25-points, 6 assists and 11 steals to take the MVP honours. She also played for a couple of minutes with the senior team in their final against Bourges and scored a couple of points. She has two more matches as a cadette as USVO have qualified for the National Final 4 next weekend.

Aminata Konaté who won everything in the U15 category with Paris Basket 18 was also in her element with 10-points and 5 assists as USVO went into the interval leading comfortable (44-26)

USVO turned their effective during the second half of the match but continued to increase their advantage and finished winning the match by a margin of 34 points.
